Shaolin (2011) – Cine Asia Trailer Epic martial arts film from director Benny Chan (NEW POLICE STORY) is set during China’s early Republican era and centers on a prideful warlord (Andy Lau) forced to seek refuge with Shaolin monks after his family is slain.
Amid growing civil strife, he joins the monks in taking a stand against the tyranny of other warlords vying for control of China. Also starring Nicholas Tse, Fan Bingbing, Jackie Chan, Jacky Wu Jing, Xing Yu, and Xiong Xin-xin. Action directors are Yuen Tak, Corey Yuen and Nicky Li.
