America has never met a family like the Anthonys.
Nowhere have we seen all of the worst qualities a family can have come together in such perverse timing than what we have seen with this family. We have never seen so many shared qualities of danger and wickedness so predominant in so many family members.
More often, we find a family that is dysfunctional, with one family member the center of attention with evil, and the others left scratching their heads trying to come to grips with what the one member has done.
Not so with the Anthonys. The speech patterns of mother, father, brother and sister alike show deception. I wonder how it was that they survived under the same roof for any length of time together, though speculation of Casey considering murdering the rest of them isn't something to be lightly dismissed.
"Is George Anthony the father of Caylee?" This shockingly perverse notion, which normally would have quickly met with condemnation by a chorus of voices was, instead, met with talk of DNA tests as experienced investigators wondered the same. But if that wasn't the pinnacle of all that is evil, the same unified voices speculated, "Is Lee Anthony the father of Caylee?" with the same level of mistrust of all things Anthony. No one could count on a verbal answer from any Anthony; they are all equally guilty of deception; deception that goes far deeper than even some experts are willing to acknowledge.
Adolf Hitler was a homeless, high school drop out who became a co-author of the death of countless millions of people throughout Europe, destroying lives from one side of the globe to another. What creates such evil, such violence, such cruelty? How did such an uneducated street loser come to satisfy himself on the blood of others? It is not found in the numbers.
Pat Brown's profiling highlighted something that appeared to either lie dormant, or excused by professionals. It is something so simple that perhaps its very simplicity was ignored. She taught that when someone kills another human being and enjoys it, he (or she) is a serial killer. He may be a serial killer waiting for his next victim, or he may be a serial killer with a long list of victims; it matters not; what is the difference is that the killer enjoyed the killing. I am grateful for her common sense books. Like her or not, her opinion is out front and allows the reader to see what went behind her thinking. I like this trait about her.
She did a profile of Rubin "Hurricane" Carter that is second to none. Bob Dylan's famous song, "Hurricane" is a masterpiece of emotion and poetry combustible in outrage over perceived wrongs by a racist society.
Sometime after 1976, Bob Dylan got a jolt of reality, as more information came out about Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, the middle weight contending boxer in prison for triple homicide. As his criminal history came out, and then eventually, the court transcripts came out, so did clarity of just who Carter is: a sociopathic killer. If you have seen the movie starring Denzel Washington, you must read Pat's article on him. Bob Dylan never played that song again, even though he has toured, on average, 100 shows a year, since 1992 to 2011. He continues the "never ending tour" relentlessly, at age 70, yet will not play that song. He knows. His drummer once ventured to ask him about it in 1994, and Dylan wouldn't answer.
What made Rubin Carter so violent? What made Adolf Hitler so violent? What made Casey Anthony so violent?
Some violent individuals end up in prison, effectively ending their 'careers' as killers. Others, by rabid twists of fate, end up in prominent positions are, like Hitler, vaunted to positions of authority where they also kill. Carter killed in a robbery, but his history of violence was well established since childhood, and he was never a real contender for any boxing championship.
But what of Casey Anthony?
Most of the people who have closely followed the Casey Anthony trial were, statistically, women. I find that most commentators here are women. If you believe, as I do, that men and women are created differently, it becomes even more fascinating to garner opinions and views. For Christian and Jews who hold to Scripture, Genesis' teaching of creation shows a physiological difference, with sexual affinities, between men and women, subsequently impacting how each thinks. In short, women have a greater, or superior capacity of emotion than men, which only makes sense, since women answer the highest calling created: motherhood.
With this superior level of emotions comes a price. As men can be deeply wounded, women, perhaps, even more so. But on the flip side, is this powerful, driven protective instinct that is later refreshingly highlighted with the comparison of "a mother bear robbed of its whelps"; in other words, do not mess with the child when the mother is around. She will be ferocious and fearless in her protection of her little one.
I am reminded of this each time I enter my inlaw's home and read the plaque that says:
"if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy"
If fathers are protective, how much more so are mothers when they feel a threat over their little ones? This was the point Scripture making: God protecting his own, by employing language based in nature. If it wasn't true, the comparison would not work.
Back to women viewers of the Casey Anthony trial.

How did Casey Anthony overcome all natural protective instinct to kill her child?
As a father, I have thought of this many times. How did she do it? How does one inflict such pain upon a child, even unto death?

What was your initial reaction? It was likely an immediate reflex to pull away from such thought, and quickly come up with: 'accidental death'. It had to be. Right?
Most of you would rather think that Casey Anthony just gave a bit too much home made chloroform, or cough syrup, or Xanax, and Caylee fell asleep and died peacefully in her sleep.
It is what you wanted to believe.
It was all you allowed yourself to believe. It was the only acceptable rationale that you would accept. I know. I have been reading your comments for a long time. In fact, some of you wrote in very angry comments when I spoke of the duct tape, and the violent death that Caylee met.
In 1943, the United States government assigned a group of psychologists the task of bringing together a psychological profile of German dictator Adolf Hitler. It needed to be done in a hurry, and it had to be done without interviewing Hitler, and, it had to be done in a hurry. They moved as quickly as they could, and the results were astonishing. They interviewed his former dentist, and others who had known him early in life, and reviewed any written records of him made that could be considered prior to National Socialists propaganda. Their conclusion: inadequate, violent, fearful man who would, when confronted with responsibility, blame others and likely kill himself.
In 2 years, it would prove to be a perfect prediction. It is a fascinating read. "The Mind of Adolf Hitler: The Secret Wartime Report" by Walter C. Langer.
When Hitler was a young child, he was subject to frequent beatings at the hands of a vicious step father. His mother, whom he had a twisted bond with, was unable (or unwilling) to protect him. This breaking of the maternal protection instinct combined with the acute physical beatings conspired together to make him into a street bully. One beating was so severe, that he, as a child, was literally beaten unconscious. It is difficult to image such a severe beating and the life long impact it has upon a human being, but it left him immune to compassion upon others. In fact, when one of the many plots to kill him failed, some of the conspirators were filmed hanged by piano wire, a slow and painful death, done for his enjoyment and pleasure.
Childhood physical trauma; that is, childhood violence, can lead (can, not must) to the formation of a personality so vile, that a woman can literally overcome all instinct to protect, nurture, and provide, allowing her to murder her own child.
Casey Anthony's family had every possible evil within it. And it is Casey Anthony's lying (the maddening use of adverbs) that can help us understand why deceit and murder are linked together. This can even be seen in the language of Cindy Anthony.
Question: How many families have you met where the father threw his own father through a glass door?
Think of how violent and explosive the shattering of glass, as a grown man throws an older man threw plate glass?
I don't know of any.
How many families do you know where the mother took the daughter by the throat, face to face, and squeezed, almost to the point of death, in a white-out of rage?
How many families do you know where you looked at a child and openly wondered, "did the brother father this child?" I don't know any.
How many families do you know where you looked at a grandchild and openly wondered "did the grandfather father this child?" I don't know any.
And the list of evil goes on and on and on.
How many families do you know where the father stole the retirement account of the mother, in order to gamble online?
How many families do you know where...and on it goes.

The videos in this case tell us much.
Think of the video of the angry protesters. Go to Youtube (someone will post the links for us) where Cindy Anthony pushes aside the man of the house, George Anthony, lifts a baseball bat to the mob, as her eyes light up with an adrenaline flow that empowers and thrills her.
John Morgan called Cindy a "rabid doberman" when he deposed her. She fearlessly perjured herself on the witness stand to pervert justice for her granddaughter. She had far more nerve, apparently, than did Florida prosecutors, and, perhaps, Judge Perry. She did not fear being held in contempt, and she did not fear perjury charges.
The evil that is this family, in spite of seeing a violent murder (the duct tape over the nose), has only been scratched upon the surface.
The currency in which they trade, one with another, and with the rest of society, is counterfeit. They are used to lies, and know nothing more than it. Cindy talks about God but before Him, can swear an oath, and lie. She does not fear Divine retribution, even though Scripture promises it. In her jailhouse letters, the Christ she speaks of is not the Christ of the Bible, but a neutered subservient god, created in cindy's own image, of whom she expects (and thinks she has received) results. Her religion is a lie, just as is this family a lie.
Casey cares for no one but herself. George now says Casey is not welcome in his home. We will have to see what Cindy says about that.
Cindy lied for Casey but was left at the door last week when Casey would not "allow" Cindy to visit her.
George says he will support Caylee's law in spite of the reflection upon Casey.
Lee is rumored to be considering suit against Casey, but he will have to use caution: his hands are not clean since June of 2008. More on this later.
No where have we ever seen so many evil traits and characteristics coming together in one family; which is the fascination that America has with the Anthonys.
The Anthonys are hated people and as such, they likely need to be careful with what they say, and even where they go. America is angry. Casey is said to be moving to California, Puerto Rico, or in with Baez. Who knows? Likely Baez and Sims know. Sims has to meet with Casey to explain the "I can't answer 'would I let Casey babysit' question" and it may be that Casey may dump her next. Sims is a fraud and has some serious issues of her own as she was willing to sell her own soul in order to garnish fame for herself.
I would not want to be Casey Anthony walking the streets. America is angry. Sims was able to recognize that, for herself, which is what led to her ask that people be "kind" and "compassionate" and "respectful". She wasn't asking this for Casey: she was nervously talking about herself.
Casey Anthony was able to overcome all human and maternal instinct, to murder her child.
George, Cindy and Lee were able to overcome all familiar human instinct to not only pervert justice for a murdered child, but to seek fame and fortune off of the blood of the murdered child.
Jose Baez, Cheney Mason, Dorothy Sims, Linda Kenny-Baden, and a whole bunch of others were able to pervert justice in order to gain fame which leads to fortune.
America may, however, have the last word.
We may unite and boycott any and everything that leads to financial gain for these ghoulish profiteers.
The 'over the top' Casey-Clock from HLN's recycling of the same story over and over will fade. They are ratings driven. If you think the motivation is "justice" just take a peek of how many shows they did to cover a golfer's list of girlfriends. That will tell you all you need about ratings and "justice" from them.
Casey's Law may help, but it needs honest debate for honest tweaking, and not emotionalism.
A good idea to debate is a jury's version of the Son of Sam laws which should preclude jurors from selling their stories (in exchange for anything including the deceptive "licensing fees".)
If we get a law prohibiting jurors from ever selling their story we will likely never see another verdict like this.
This verdict was about a few jurors dominating the rest, for the sake of "bombshell" profit. (I look forward to the day when "bombshell" fades from our vocabulary in fabricated ways)
We may study the Anthonys and take the warnings of lies and of violence. We may use their story to get good laws passed, like the Jury Son of Sam law, or Caylee's law, and we may learn more about the impact of childhood trauma and violence, but we must not allow the Anthonys to manipulate media any longer in order to profit.
America now knows what most of us knew in 2008: The Anthonys knew Caylee was dead, yet cost millions of dollars and untold emotional costs, upon society, just to propel their lies for Casey.
Thousands of tips had to be followed up on; airline costs for investigators to travel, manpower hours, and the emotions of a country looking for a toddler they fretted over, all the while they knew she was rotting in the mud a quarter of a mile from their home.
What is it about George, Cindy, Casey and Lee that gave them the ability to overcome any penchant for the good, and accomplish the evil in which they all had a hand in?
