The fallout from the OJ Verdict has been felt for a long time in America. It seemed that there was only a mild sigh of relief when he put a ski mask over his face, got with his posse, and, armed, went in to steal a trophy or something of no importance in life. OJ will spend the rest of his days in prison, and not on a golf course 'searching' for Nicole's killer. OJ is in prison, behind bars, so others are now safe from him, though the victims' families, suffer still by having to pay for his room, board, and therapy. But at least he is in the cage with the lock secured.
But "how many sex partners did she have in 24 hours? "
Who? Who are you talking about?
Does it matter? As long as Kobe walks, it is okay.
It is now out there and everyone is asking "how many sex partners did she have in 24 hours?" It is a lingering precept in Defense 101. The attorney got it out there, truthful or not, and it is an evil seed planted in what sadly could be fertile ground, with no discriminative abilities cultivated early in life.
Lie, confuse, and lie some more. Show up late, make excuses, and lie some more. Drag things out as long as you can until people forget what it was you were supposed to do. It worked for more than 10 years for Dr. Joseph Goebbels, who got school children to recite poems about Jews not being human. Repeat something enough, no matter how absurd, and many will believe it. Pinellas County jurors were apparently, lacking in intellectual strength to hear common sense and respond accordingly.
What happened to Hailey Dunn? Does anyone remember her?
Hailey Dunn was only 13 when she went missing. 13 years old! She didn't get to wear a beautiful prom dress, or get to go to college, or rise to the high call of motherhood. She got cheated out of those things. Hailey's teachers told us that she was destined for better things. Her mother's creepy druggie boyfriend (along with Hailey's mother), concocted a ridiculous tale so contrived that anyone with common sense could see through it...yeah, she went out and was staying over a friend's house...you know, 13 year old girls just always go places and forget their stuff...
Right.
Police doubted the tale and when they told mommy that she wasn't truthful, she said, "oh yeah? Polygraph us!"
Boyfriend was freaked. "Have you lost your mind?! Are you insane? We can't take a polygraph!" but mommy had a better idea.
So, mom and creepy boyfriend take polygraphs to prove their innocence, except they show up stoned in order to throw off police. Not a very smart move but these two aren't exactly Rhodes Scholars.
They get sent home only to show up again the next day and are asked two critical questions:
1. What happened to Hailey?
2. Where is Hailey?
They both fail.
Police dig a bit deeper and what do they find?
Mom and boyfriend into pornography, including child porn (Hailey was only 13), drugs, and disgusting hard-core horror and violence.
Like the town manager said, "A plus B equals C". Both fail the poly. It doesn't take a genius to see that child pornography, drugs, and violence lead to death. Sure, Statement Analysis showed that mommy had the ability to do what Casey Anthony or Susan Smith could do: speak of her child in the past tense.
We knew.
The police knew.
Poor Hailey.
So where are the arrests?
This case isn't much of a mystery.
Statement Analysis did more than just get to the truth; it brought forth psychological profiles of both mommy and boyfriend; no mystery here. Boyfriend wears creepy masks, is into kiddie porn, and is scared out of his mind. He fears his own shadow.
What does this mean?
It means arrest him on child porn charges and he will roll over on himself and give up Hailey's body in a New York minute. A little pressure in jail, thinking about all the lovely things prisoners will do to him as a child molester would be just enough incentive to cut a deal.
So, what happened?
Have police, and the District Attorney forgotten Hailey Dunn?
Could it be that they feared the attorneys involved, and backed off, thinking that the lawyers would punch holes in the child porn charges, even though we were told that there were more than 109,000 "deviant" images on computers, memory sticks, etc? Let's not float the "it belongs to another county" nonsense; it has been more than 4 months to sort things out.
Just one image of child pornography means 20 years. I promise the District Attorney that if monster-man in the mask is arrested, he'll roll as he turns pale thinking about what pedophiles receive in prison, and you'll have to make a deal with him.
So what? At least you'll allow the good people of broken hearts everywhere to mourn, and let Hailey be put to rest. It's the least you can do for her.
If any of us don't think, for a minute even, that prosecutors all over the country aren't worried about being "baez'd" in court by lies like "how many sex partners did she have in 24 hours?" treatment, we are deluding ourselves.
A plus B equals C, but not in Florida, and perhaps not in Texas, and now we're all worried that it won't equal C anywhere in this country, as long as we cheat our children out of educations and let TV's babysit.
States can go bankrupt changing school bathroom plumbing to accommodate the one little boy who dresses like a girl (if they can find him) but it won't matter anyway if the rest of the kids can't use grammar beyond LOL OMG and BRB. Maybe Jeff Ashton should have text'd the jury.
And if you are one of the new generation of young adults who can't read or follow an argument, we've got good news: Maroon 5 is hawking pharmaceuticals to help you cope.
Jeff Ashton did what he had to do, as did Linda Drane Burdick and Frank George, for Caylee. Texas DA has to do the same for Hailey and not worry about being 'baez'd' in court, and end up with a jury that thinks learning ain't no good.
Hailey deserves her shot.
Caylee got torpedoed by her family. Cindy and George and creepy uncle Lee all boldly lied. Lee wept when he wasn't allowed to go to the all girls shower, but laughed when talking about his dead niece.
Hailey's family can't keep their rear ends out of jail but they can put the touch on a gullible public to get bail money.
Neither child has a family spokesman, but both children have something in common besides foul play:
Both Caylee Marie Anthony and Hailey Darlene Dunn have a family of strangers who have not stopped caring and have not stopped seeking justice for them.
Hailey's got to have her shot at justice.
Arrest scary mask weirdo now. Child porn is the evidence of a crime. He is a danger to children everywhere. Don't ask his girlfriend where he is, she'll hide her pill bottles and lie to you anyway. You don't need her help, just the same. She and Casey can have their own reality show for all I care. This is about Hailey.
When a child goes missing and a mother lies...well, you know the story. Casey needed to lie, but in the courtroom, so did Caylee's uncle, grandmother and grandfather need to lie. They all lied and now they will all be wealthy beyond their wildest dreams.
Jeff Ashton has to be shell shocked and may never fully recover.
Give us a chance for justice for Hailey; just a chance.
Does anyone remember Hailey Dunn? Hell, yes, we remember Hailey Dunn. We've not forgotten her and we won't be baez'd out of seeking justice for her. Her family can lie all they want but we remember and we remind those responsible for justice of their duty this day.
There will always be charlatans and liars, but if there is one thing you should take comfort from it is this:
When Jeff Ashton lays his head on his pillow at night, for the rest of his days on this earth, he will know he fought hard for Caylee; he gave it his all, and he bit back against every liar in that courtroom.
He tried.
Texas, you need to try.
You know what A plus B equals, even if jurors don't.
You've got to remember Hailey.Source URL: https://wallpaper-com.blogspot.com/2011/07/anyone-remember-hailey-dunn.html
