Casey Anthony Update

The judge has ruled on the motion filed late Friday and will allow Lee Anthony to be in the courtroom.

Cindy Anthony is testifying today, and it appears that she is not going to outright lie for Casey, with regards to Casey's "scorched earth" policy of blaming George, Lee and Cindy for covering up an 'accidental death'.

The jury heard "excited utterance" in the 911 call from Cindy when she reported that the car smelled like a dead body had been in it.

Would Cindy tell the truth about the smell of human decomposition?

Even if she does not tell the truth, the jury will have already heard her voice, in the excited utterance, describing the smell as a dead body.

Statement Analysis and update later today.

Casey Anthony's Scorched Earth Policy

Casey has alleged, through her attorney, that Caylee died on that June morning, while Cindy was at work, and that she was found by George, who, after giving Casey a verbal tongue lashing, took the body and either disposed of it, or hid it.

Further, Casey alleges that she acted like nothing was wrong because she had been taught to act this way by both her parents, George and Cindy, and that George has sexually molested her from the time she was a young girl, right up to junior high school, where she was forced into sex acts with her father just before going off to school. Casey alleged that Cindy did not protect her, and that her brother, lee Anthony, was following in her father's foot steps.

Question: Since the murder of Caylee Anthony, 2, in June of 2008, who has supported Casey?

Answer: George, Cindy, and Lee Anthony have supported Casey, including lying for her, covering up and destroying evidence for her, and emotionally assisting her, including praising her for her strength in not 'breaking', or confessing to the crime.

Question: Who does Casey now blame for what happened?

Answer: George, Cindy, and Lee Anthony.

This is the scorched earth policy of Casey Anthony.

    1. The public did not support her. There were no "Free Casey" movements in the public arena, nor on line.

    2. Casey's extended family did not support her, rather they ridiculed George and Cindy for their foolish lying in public and living in "denial" of Casey's crimes. Casey had already stolen from them and they had had enough of Casey to last a lifetime.

    3. Casey's friends did not support her. Her boyfriend sought answers from her, which she could not give him lest they reveal her guilt, so he dumped her. Casey stole from her friends and lied to them about her entire life, including her "job", her "paycheck" and her "nanny"; all of which made them angry since lying presupposes gullibility.

The only ones who supported her are now being blamed for her incarceration and it appears, thus far anyway, that they, the family, have had enough.

    George listened to vile accusations.

Cindy listened to a description of an uncaring mother, who knew of the sexual molestation but used Casey "like a pawn" in a game, to manipulate for life.

Lee Anthony learned that the nation heard that he was following in his incestuous father's perverted footsteps and he will be given opportunity to do something he has not done for 3 years:

    tell the truth.

    Will he?

Will Lee Anthony come clean, and join Cindy and George in ending the years of lying and cover up for the murdering Casey?

    We will learn soon enough.

Casey Anthony has completely scorched those who have supported her. She has left nothing behind. If she is to go down, she is taking them with her.

There is, however, one person left for Casey to attempt to destroy.

There is one person left who may have a secret with Casey that he does not want the world to learn, of whom Casey, as the world around her collapses in ruins, may just decide to take with her.Source URL: https://wallpaper-com.blogspot.com/2011/05/

Casey Anthony Live Chat

There will be a live chat today as Cindy Anthony resumes her testimony that appears to contradict the assertion of Casey Anthony that Caylee died by drowning in the pool in the backyard.

The defense' theory does not explain why, for almost 3 years, nothing was said regarding the child's death, including statements by Jose Baez in this same time period.

It should be high drama as Lee Anthony, accused of "following in his father's footsteps" as a molester, by Casey Anthony, has petitioned the court for access to the courtroom.

The judge may rule on this motion today.Source URL: https://wallpaper-com.blogspot.com/2011/05/

Did George Anthony Molest Casey? Part III

This is the 3rd in a series seeking to answer the question:

Did George Anthony molest his daughter, Casey Anthony?  It has become central to the case against Casey Anthony, as the defense attempts to disprove murder.

Casey Anthony, through her attorney, has alleged sexual abuse by George Anthony, beginning at the age of 8 and continuing at least until the age of 13, where, she alleged, she was forced into performing oral sex on her father, just prior to starting her school day.  Casey also alleged that Lee was "following in his father's footsteps" but did not clarify just what he did to her, or when.

George Anthony took the stand and issued a strong denial.  His words were few, and without qualifiers.  There was no sensitivity indicators attached to them though he could not have been asked more sensitive questions.  This is an indication of veracity. (Compare this to his answers about duct tape for a wide disparity in his words).

    Part I  http://seamusoriley.blogspot.com/2011/05/did-george-anthony-molest-casey-part-i.html

    Part II http://seamusoriley.blogspot.com/2011/05/did-george-anthony-molest-casey-part-ii.html

In Part II, we looked at the fact that had he molested her in the incestuous manner there would have likely been some evidence confirming it.

    a. inappropriate sexual acting out with classmates
    b. Lots of missed school days
    c. Lots of visits to the nurse, stomach pains, unknown ailments, psycho-sematic issues
    d. Pediatrician concerns, lots of urinary tract infections
    e. anger, rage, self-injurious behavior
    f. depression (acute)
    g. sharing info with girlfriends, who would have told someone; 13 year old girls do not keep secrets well
    h. blow ups with her father in front of her mother

We also discussed some of the various way in which molestation takes place.  There is some abusers who will restrict themselves to inappropriate touching, not daring to indulge their fantasies further than a small child, outside of the clothing, which is called in the field "diddling" or the perpetrator a "diddler."   This is a kind of molestation in which the perpetrator says he is only "tickling" and restricts his (or her) behavior to very young children, usually one in the home, as a private fantasy.   The perpetrator is usually a highly sexualized individual, given to many affairs, pornography and may have asked his partners to dress up in ways which feed his fantasy, particularly, asking his adult partners to look young.

The fact that Casey was able to overcome all maternal instincts and actually kill her own child, itself, suggests that she was sexually assaulted as a child.  Of mothers that kill, most all have been molested; though of those molested, most all do not kill.

Casey is not the typical, in any way, mother that kills.  We are more likely to see a mother that kills come from a single parent household, be a victim of sexual assault, be heavily into substance abuse, and be subject to violence as a youth.  Casey does not appear to have been a heavy drug user, nor does she appear to have been an acute alcoholic; more of a selfish party or "shot" girl.

Casey is not a typical liar, either, where most deceive by withholding information.  Casey manufactures her own reality, and is caught by the multitude of details she piles on to her lies.

Casey also shows indications of sexual molestation in her hyper-sexual behavior; inappropriate and immoral.  She had a large number of sexual partners in a very short period of time, going from man to man, even allowing her daughter to sleep in the beds of these men, with her.

Then, we have indicators from George that something simply isn't right.

His comments to his daughter, especially while visiting her in prison, indicate a 'creepy' attitude, one that focuses upon Casey's outward and physical appearance.  His terms of endearment bothered most people, but given the location where these comments were made, raised red flags.

Can you imagine visiting your own daughter, in prison for murder, having a "missing" or "kidnapped" grandchild, and noticing your daughter's shapely figure getting worse??

Rather than being in shock over the situation, he begins with "hi, gorgeous!" as if her physical appearance mattered in jail.   The frequent comments about her appearance were inappropriate but showed us how he related to her.

George was said to have affairs and Statement Analysis showed that the woman who alleged one affair, River Cruz, was telling the truth about being with George (her sister was lying about money and media, and River was not truthful about how far the relationship went).  I would not be surprised to learn that George showed young Casey and young Lee pornography.

If Cindy ever reports that George had his identity stolen on line, the first thing that should be investigated is his computer:  did he sign up for pornography pay sites only to plead 'identity theft' when caught?

Casey's behavior and George's behavior suggest that there was inappropriateness, with regards to sexuality, in the family.  It also appears from Cindy's behaviors before the camera and by her own writing that this was a violent family, either ruled by violence, or by the threat of violence.

The Anthony household was one that created the environment which nurtured Casey Anthony.

    1. Sexual Deviation
    2. Violence
    3.  Deception of all forms
    4.  Theft

It was in this environment that Casey learned to lie and manipulate, and to show rage.  She learned from both parents how to lie, and how to take from others, what their own hands did not earn.

George's frequent "falls" for the purpose of disability, and his online gambling (reported to have been in excess of $100,000 show that he did not wish to work and accept what he had, but wanted what others had. (He was supporting Nigerian princes and princesses, too)   Casey stole from others, and even "stole" an identity, one in which she was so revered that 'shot girls' were 'protected' by her; that she paid $400 per week for an upscale nanny, and that she often, according to Cindy, "counseled" others in finance and in relationships.

The household produced a sociopath in Casey Anthony.

Sexual deviation, of some form or another, was likely a part of this production.  Since Casey has no credibility, we can only go on behavioral analysis.  It is likely that something happened to Casey, whether it was the inappropriate touching outside of the clothing when she was very young, or exposure to pornography, or whatever it was, something unseemly was working in her life that gave her the ability to kill her own child.

Liver cell cancer liver

Liver cell cancer liver cancer is 'normal' happens anywhere in the world, but there are endemic in native populations in China, Southeast Asia, and countries in Africa south of Sahara. In these countries, especially developing cancer in the liver of infected chronic hepatitis-B. The incidence (frequency of occurrence) in this endemic area, thirty per 100,000 population per year, is ten times higher than the low-risk country, a place where alcohol plays the most important. Intensive use of alcohol and prolonged in Western countries is always an important cause of cirrhosis and liver with the consequent increased incidence of hepatocellular cancer is not inevitable.
Primary liver cancer in endemic areas often develop quickly and be fatal. This is the picture that is marked by a determination in the diagnosis of a terminal phase. The more serious cirrhosis due to chronic hepatitits, the greater the risk for development of hepatocellular carcinoma. According to the Child this state was divided into three classes (A, B, and C) according to the seriousness of the disease, based on results of blood tests and clinical picture. Here, Child's C is the most serious.

Filtering, mainly directed at patients with cirrhosis Child A, through blood tests (al marker alpha-foetoprotein [AFP]) and ekhografi can produce a number of cases of early diagnosis.

The MIRACLE project (Magnetic Isolation and molecular analysis of unmarried disseminated and circulating tumor cells on chip), is a thinking formed by groups of researchers and industrial operators crossways Europe united to beat cancer. The European Union has funded this project with the goal of developing a system LOC (Lab – on-a – chip) which intends ” level to the goal: a system that is automated and programmed to detect tumor cells disseminated and circulating. With this system you shall have a cancer diagnosis faster and safer.

To date, the research teams have worked and are working to discover treatments and cures for new methods to beat primary tumor in the initial place. Unluckily, regardless chemotherapy treatments, primary tumor cells can survive and spread to other parts of our body, causing the development of so-called metastasis or secondary tumors.

For these cells known “occult “can go unnoticed for numerous diagnostic tests and spread to other areas through blood flow. Thanks to the project MIRACLE, these cells “hidden “can be recognized and go behind as both therapy and what happens to pathology. Presently, analysis of tumor cell detection is performed merely in costly medical laboratories, which take a long time (about 24 hours) to analyze and monitor them.

Thanks to the project MIRACLE such analysis shall be conducted in a faster and less costly. The project, led by the Interuniversity Microelectronics middle (IMEC) in Belgium, shall use electrochemical sensors to detect cancer cells before, and to extract their genetic stuff then, in a manner that shall amplify the markers to beat cancer. With this new project shall have a new cancer diagnostics and treatments tailored? Categories: Tumors Tags: Cancer, Cancer New Methods, Cells, tumor CANCER RESEARCH, FORWARD OR BACKWARD ?

“Fight cancer”, “Beat cancer” are very popular expressions these days, and it is good so. Although October, the Breast Cancer Awareness Month is over, one can still see many people wearing pink ribbons on their jackets, which is a demonstration of their will to help those women who suffer from this disease. And this is very much appreciated and should be acknowledged. Fundraising and information events, websites, donations, merchandise, advertisements all over the media, groups on social networking sites, individuals spreading the word – attention is certainly given to the subject and considerable amount of money is collected.
However, looking a little bit closer, as a cancer survivor myself who studied the subject from the most various resources available for public, I personally have some questions, doubts and reservations about these research programs and might be a bad person, but I did not donate one single cent and not intend to do so. Tell you why.
Fight. A key word when talking about cancer.
How do you best fight so that you win? You know your enemy. A problem – any problem – can be only handled if one knows the exact cause of it. This should be clear – how else do you solve a situation, if you don’t know what is it exactly? Let’s take breast cancer, it looks like this: each year $ millions are spent to find out the causes of cancer AND more importantly, develop new treatments. Let me suggest: treatments can be only effective when they target the root of the problem… “The exact causes of breast cancer are not known.” In fact, according to the publicly available statements, causes of cancer are a mystery for the medical profession.

Hepatoma Liver Cancer

Hepatoma Liver Cancer Heart has a special ability to regenerate after loss of tissue or injured. Tissue loss by any cause, quite quickly compensated and replaced, without leaving a scar that difficult. In the long-standing inflammation, tissue inflammation transformed into rigid connective tissue that mengisut, which can result in serious loss of function. This situation, according to the color (yellow-orange) is called cirrhosis (kirrhos = orange-yellow) is one basis for liver cancer.

Under the terms of liver cancer, as well as talk about the primary and secondary liver cancer. The first, which stems from the liver cells, called cell cancer of the liver (hepatocellular carcinoma). The second consists of a group of metastatic tumors originating from the parent anywhere in the body. We will first discuss the problem of liver cell cancer and after that, some general features of metastasis in the liver.

Liver cell cancer

Liver cell cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). The liver is a large organ, solid, which is attached to near the body cavity in the upper right abdomen and protected entirely by a framework of ribs.
Liver has a dual function: first, produce and drain the bile into the intestine for digestion of fat and second, processing the food coming from the intestines through the portal vein, to the important parts of metabolism, in all tissues and organs. For that there are four branches throughout the liver system. First, the two blood vessels in, namely the liver artery that contains a full blood acidity and portal vein from the intestines that contains a food that is both naturally branched throughout the liver.

Then, two systems out: small bile ducts of the liver which merged into the bile duct into the intestine and liver to the bleeding veins of the body with nutrients for metabolism and carbonic acid that will be cleared in the lung. Hearts were divided into various sections.

Lee Anthony Files Motion to Be in Court

He has heard that he attempted to molest Casey.  In fact, the whole nation has heard it and now Lee Anthony has filed a motion:

He wants in the courtroom, just as his parents were able to be in to hear everything.  Is this a signal that he plans on 'betraying' his sister, much like George and Cindy did?

Had Casey really believed that her family was going to take a bullet for her, allow their reputations to be destroyed and perhaps even have George and Lee prosecuted, all just to cover for Casey's murder?

Casey Anthony will be back in an Orange County courtroom for day 17 of her murder trial on Tuesday and before the jury hears any testimony, the judge is expected to hear a new motion.

The motion was filed over the weekend by Casey's brother, Lee Anthony, who is also a witness in the case. Lee Anthony’s attorney, Mark Lippman, who is also representing George and Cindy Anthony, will petition the judge on Tuesday to allow Lee Anthony to sit in on the trial and hear testimony from other witnesses. Typically witnesses aren't allowed to be in court to hear other testimony.

The motion was not, as previously reported by a local Florida attorney, a motion to squelch the defense from the sexual abuse allegation.
Lee Anthony is hoping Judge Belvin Perry will allow him to sit in the courtroom to watch, just as his parents have been allowed to.
Casey’s mother, Cindy Anthony is expected to be on the stand again on Tuesday, after giving emotional testimony on Saturday.
Throughout the first week of testimony, prosecutors methodically worked their way through each stage of the case. Casey’s friends and ex-boyfriends testified and prosecutors showed her partying as if nothing was wrong in the days following the time her attorneys claim Caylee drowned.
Casey's father George Anthony also testified last week, along with a tow company manager who said he smelled human decomposition in Casey's car.
WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said the trial is slowly building and on Tuesday, it’s likely the court will hear Cindy's 911call that she made to report Caylee missing.
"Smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car,” Cindy Anthony said in the 911 call she made back in 2008.

For Cindy, the car, like Casey, was "damned"
"The emotion you hear in at 911 call is really going to seal the deal,” said Sheaffer.
Law enforcement is also expected to testify, to spell out Casey's lies about dropping Caylee of at the Saw Grass apartments with the mystery babysitter Zenaida Gonzales and even leading them to Universal Studios where she claimed she worked.
"We'll have investigators testify to the numerous lies she told them,” said Sheaffer.

There should be quite a number of investigators to testify and there may be some cross examination.  Expect the pattern of Jose Baez to continue:  he will ask questions, build a crescendo, and just when we are left to believe that he has a powerful, testimonial, game breaking question, he will say "no further questions" with all the bluster of a Richard Henee balloon.
Sheaffer said he also expects Casey's pattern of crying to continue when Caylee is brought up, something she never did at other court hearings. He believes that's what she's been instructed to do by her attorneys, but said her acting falls flat when she can't maintain her emotion for very long.
"Although she tries to stay in character, she can't and reverts back to the real Casey when we see her glaring at her mother," said Sheaffer.

She is a murderer and believes that life revolves around her:  we should not expect her to behave like a professional legal always.
Sheaffer also said he believes the defense will have to be very careful when cross examining Cindy Anthony on Tuesday. He said if they attack Cindy the way they've attacked George, it might look to the jury like they're just picking on a grieving grandmother.
Prosecutors contend that 25-year-old Casey suffocated Caylee with duct tape. Casey's defense team says the child drowned accidentally in a family pool.
Casey is charged with first-degree murder in the toddler's summer 2008 death. If convicted, she could be sentenced to death.
The trial will resume at 8:30am on Tuesday.Source URL: https://wallpaper-com.blogspot.com/2011/05/

Flashback: 2008 Jose Baez Sought Immunity?

Backdate:  August of 2008.   Looking back at the case of Casey Anthony, did she seek immunity? Did Casey Anthony, through her attorney, Jose Baez, seek immunity?  Let's look at his denial, and what he claims for knowledge back almost 3 years ago.

With all that is known now, it is not challenging to know what was deceptive and what was truthful, yet the examples highlight principles of Statement Analysis.

    Aug 4, 2008 WESH News,

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The State Attorney's Office confirmed Monday afternoon that someone asked about immunity for Casey Anthony, the mother of missing toddler Caylee Anthony.

They will neither confirm nor deny that the inquiry came from her attorney, Jose Baez.

State Attorney spokesman Randy Means released the following statement: "We are not entertaining immunity for anyone involved in this case."

The prosecution had little to say.  Note the contrary for Baez

Baez denies asking for immunity for Casey Anthony.

"We're not asking for immunity on anything because she doesn't know anything. She doesn't know where the child is, so we're not saying, 'Give me immunity first and then we'll talk.' That's what's been reported and that's certainly not what's the case here," Baez said.

Note that Baez uses "we", as he speaks for himself and Casey (and perhaps other attorneys)  This is to be expected.  If he changes to "I" anywhere, it should be considered highly personal and important.   Note "on anything" as unnecessary, further weakening the statement.
Note that "immunity" is repeated; therefore, it should be considered sensitive to Baez.
Note that Casey "doesn't know anything" with "anything" clarified:
She doesn't know where the child is.   Note this compared to his opening statement where he said that Caylee drowned but George dumped the body.
Note what is presented in the negative:  "we're not saying" (present tense) "give me immunity" rather than "we did not ask for immunity"
Note that he says "that's certainly not what's the case here" is not the same as saying "I did not seek immunity for Casey" nor is it "we did not ask for immunity.

This is an indication that Jose Baez lied about immunity for Casey.

Question:  Why did he seek to deceive the press?

Answer:  It may have been part of the 'machismo' behavior we have seen out of him for 3 years, the silly boasting, poker bluffing, and refusal to defend his client.  He had to be admonished repeatedly by the judge just to finish depositions.  This is a deceptive response from a deceptive individual.

Question:  Are there indications that he is deceptive here?

    Answer:  yes

Note that "we" changes to "me" and it is embedded in a first person singular statement:  "give me immunity".  This coupled with the present tense makes for a weak denial.
Notice the incongruity:  give me immunity and "we'll" talk

WESH 2 reporter Gail Paschall-Brown said to Baez, "Wait. You're saying she doesn't know where Caylee is even though it sounds like she's telling her father that she does know?"

Well, when you have all the facts, you'll pretty much understand that. When you have all the facts, it will come out," Baez said.

Note the avoidance of a direct response to:  "She doesn't know where Caylee is?"   This deceptive response is an indication that Jose Baez knew that his client knew where the child was.  Note:

    1.  Avoidance.  To avoid a question is a signal that the question is sensitive to the subject.
    2.  Note that only "pretty much" will cause Gail to "understand" but "all the facts" will come out.

Because of the multitude of words, it may sound like a good answer, but it is deceptive via avoidance.

Baez said blaming Casey Anthony does a disservice to Caylee.

"Until this little girl is found, no matter what the circumstances, she's still a missing child and she deserves for everybody to be looking out for her because she's all of our child. She's a child that belongs to all of us," Baez said.

The question has been the same:  Does Casey know where Caylee is?  Baez is deceptive by avoiding answering the question instead attempts to appeal to emotions by calling her "our" child.  Note that rather than discussing a "kidnapped" child, Baez adds "no matter what the circumstances" indicating that he is withholding knowledge on what caused her to go missing.

    Baez is deceptive.

He did want to go before the Florida Supreme Court this week to get his client's bond lowered, but he has to produce a written opinion in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals before he can do that.

We will continue to look at past statements of Jose Baez which will show that not only given what is known now that he was lying, but by Statement Analysis of his media responses, the principles employed will show:

He knew and has always known, yet has lied anyway. Source URL: https://wallpaper-com.blogspot.com/2011/05/

Memorial Day: Thoughts and Honor

My dad served his country in World War II.   When he was a young man, he went to sign up for the Marines, but his fiance, fearful of stories of "canon fodder" said she would not marry him if he did, so he chose the Navy instead.

He was in the South Pacific until the time where the bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki, along with the declaration of war against Japan by Russia, ended the war.  It was also during the time of the Kamikaze, or "divine wind" which terrorized the young sailors.

Some 25 years later, as a boy, I heard him scream in the middle of the night, "The Japs!  The Japs!" but he would not talk about it much, at least to me.  My mother explained that he still suffered from nightmares and night terrors about the kamikaze pilots who flew suicide missions into the American naval fleets.

Peace did come, in 1945, and my father returned home to meet his now, almost 3 year old daughter, of whom he had never laid eyes upon.  He adored her and she grew to be a lovely, intelligent,  successful mother and teacher, and a grandparent.  She also went on to have 9 more siblings, including, 20 years further down the road, a baby brother named Peter.

My father was a different sort of naval volunteer.  He had lost his own father and felt an obligation to take care of his mother, as well as his wife (whom he married on leave and who became pregnant) so he took his naval pay and sent it to both.  In spite of the hot Pacific temperature, he never tasted a beer, nor did he keep back any money for shore leave or even for card playing; every cent went to his mother and wife.  He was quiet, responsible, and did his duty without complaint.  He was young during the depression and had to wait on "soup lines"in Brooklyn; where as a 11  year old boy, he worked wherever and whenever he could, but would often stand, sometimes for hours, in a line for just a bowl of soup.  For depression era kids, waste was a terrible sin, and he would not be able to live with himself if he knew his mother or wife were hurting for food while he wasted money on beer or poker.  He found honor in duty.

My father did share one 'war story' with me that has always stayed with me.

He was an "old guy" on board the ship, a signal man with a quick mind, who was, regrettable, always "out there" in harm's way, exposed to enemy fire as well as the kamikaze attacks.  At the ripe of age of 26, he came above deck to find a 17 year old boy asleep.  The boy was caught and was going to be shot dead in a court martial hearing, thousands of miles from home. The officer grabbed my dad and made him the eye witness to it all, that would cause the death of a young boy, scared, who could only break down and cry for his mother.

Under oath, what would he do?

    My father eschewed lying.

If he lied, he could save the boy's life, but then he would have to live with himself, perhaps in self-loathing, and feel that he is betraying the United States Naval Code of honor, but if he told the truth, some mother would weep for her boy, who would die, not fighting for his country, but because he drifted off to sleep.

He knew that given the present danger, a watch was something that should it be neglected, could mean the death of many.  Although this boy was 17, he had been charged with the duty of alarm:  if he were to see enemy planes on the horizon, he was to sound the alarm:  hundreds of sleeping sailors were counting on him to take his turn, and keep up the vigilance for the rest.

My father spent a sleepless night fretting over what he would do.   He knew he would be placed under oath, before God and country, to tell the truth.

Just before trial, he felt someone lean in to whisper in his ear:

"you can't always tell if someone is asleep just because you see his eyes closed" the mysterious voice said.  It had been one of the accused buddies, sticking up for his friend.

Under oath, my father testified that he saw the boy's eyes shut, but he could not swear that the boy was asleep.

The young sailor was acquitted and his life spared, as was a life time of pain my father would have suffered has his  testimony had killed that poor boy.

I've never forgotten that lesson.  My father said that he only saw the young sailor's eyes closed for a moment and he appeared startled at my father's appearance on deck, but he could not swear before God that the sailor was asleep, and he was relieved to have the boy's life spared.

Since then, Solomon has shown me many times that there is always more to a story than meets the eye and I love getting to the truth, no matter the outcome.  The truth, itself, is what it is:  endless, timeless and eternal.  Pilate said, "what is truth?" and sealed his own fate by his own weakness.

For me, duty comes first as a husband and father. Duty has received a bad name of late, with modernity missing some of the beauties found in provision, and honor found in labor.

The "me generation" misses the call of duty and has not always understood how deep fulfillment can be gleaned from answering the call.  I share stories of my father with my children, hoping to instill in them a love of truth, and a love of duty.  They did not meet their grandfather but can be inspired by learning of his sacrifice, even if it is only of shore leave money, so that he did not fret that his mother, or his wife, were hungry.  He knew what hunger felt like, as a boy, and did not want his own to go without.  His duty was to provide, and even in small amounts, it felt good, satisfying something deep within him.  I remind my young ones, just before we eat, that the giving of thanks is more than just words, but an attitude of graciousness; one which does not feel entitled, but rather, thankful.

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance, and so it should be, that we remember the sacrifices of few, so that the rest of us may live, safely and securely, and be thankful.

We owe a debt to those who have sacrificed, and it is good that we share the stories of those who answered the call of duty on our behalf, with our young ones.  Mine are fortunate to have Heather's family as a source of blessings, as her grandfather served as a soldier in World War II (in the Pacific) and her father served in the jungles of Viet Nam.  Her dad's love of duty is another source of valuable lessons for me and the children.

Memorial Day:  a day to exercise our memories.

God bless you, today, and bless those who keep us safe.

Father Arrested in 2 Year Old's Death

                                           Portrait of a Monster

Dad Beats 2 year old to death.   Note that comments are in bold type.

Nicholas Williams was arrested last week after police say he spanked his 2-year-old daughter so hard that she died, MyFoxAustin reports.
According to the arrest affidavit, police and paramedics responded to a 911 call made by a woman saying that the child was not breathing at a residence in Austin, Texas, on May 23.
When police arrived, they found Williams holding his unresponsive daughter.
The officer began performing CPR on the child until paramedics arrived. But an hour later, after being taken to the hospital, she was pronounced dead.
Williams told police that he lightly spanked the girl with a belt because he caught her eating poop.

Note that eating feces is often associated with child sexual abuse.  There is more to this story than a belt against the rear end of a toddler.  This was not a "spanking" and the assault would likely have been all over her body.

He said her lips were already purple when he caught her eating the poop and believed this was because she was crying since she knew she would be in trouble.

Lack of oxygen.  This would come from the force that was so severe that shots against her rear end would snap her head backwards, which could also cause the brain to loosen in a manner similar to shaking the child.

He said that he then put her down for a nap.

It is likely that the beating put her unconscious he "put her down".   Even though we do not have direct quotes, we may have enough information to analyze.  Far better is direct quotes.

When he checked on her later, he noticed there was blood and vomit on the bed where the girl was lying.

She may have bled from the ears as well.

He also said the girl was unresponsive and did not appear to be breathing.
Detectives also interviewed the woman who made the 911 call and also lives in the home, but is not the child's mother. Her account of the events are the same as Williams, saying that he left the girl in the bathroom and returned a short time later to find her eating poop. She told police that she did not see Williams beat the victim but heard him hitting the child.
She did see that the girl's lips were purple and she was having trouble breathing. After splashing water on her face, Williams was able to get the girl to start breathing again. The woman would check on the girl periodically because she was concerned. She also told police that Williams admitted to her that he hit the girl with the belt to punish her.

An autopsy was performed on the girl the next day. The deputy medical examiner noticed several bruises on the victim’s head, face, back, buttocks, chest and arms. The injuries were greatest in the head and buttocks region according to the arrest affidavit. The preliminary cause of death was ruled to be blunt force injuries.
Williams was charged with injury to a child, a first-degree felony.

Expect upgrade in charges.  Besides being beaten, she was probably shaken, but in any case, she was assaulted until she 'stopped crying' and was likely a victim of sexual abuse as well.

Motion: No More References to Sexual Abuse?

A motion has been filed of which we will soon learn its contents.

As rumors go, some say it is a motion filed by the attorney for George and Cindy Anthony which may call for a limitation placed upon the defense regarding allegations of sexual abuse against George and or Lee Anthony.

However, is there a law on the books in Florida that allows for hearsay evidence when it comes to child sexual abuse below a certain age, perhaps 8? We may not have to wait long to find out. However, there is something else to be observed here.

If this motion seeks to quell the defense from asking about sexual abuse of Casey, why would it be necessary? Or, sans a Florida child abuse law yet known, is this an attempt to force the Defense to "put up or shut up"?

How does it look to the public? How will it play out to the jury?

George Anthony testified in a manner which was, at times, straight forward.

    But not always.

George Anthony, under cross, did not do so well, and it appeared, at times, as if he had something to hide. Many believe that George was truthful in his denial of sexual abuse. I believe that the denial was specific to the accusation, in particular, precisely what Casey said, through Jose Baez, that took place before Casey went to school. This was a strong denial and he appeared steadfast, without need for qualifiers, nor additional words. His testimony impressed many, including me.

But when he was called to the stand a second time, it was not the same.

In Statement Analysis, the shortest answer is best, particularly in a denial.

Question: "Did you sexually molest your daughter?"

Answer: "No, sir, I did not."

This is a strong answer, right behind, "No, I didn't." In Statement Analysis, we note that each unnecessary word becomes doubly important to us, and can weaken, severely, a denial to the point where the analyst questions the veracity of the response. In fact, stats point to deception when subjects enter a plea an add any words to "not guilty" that show much: "100% not guilty" is one that is often used by guilty parties. "Absolutely not guilty!" is another that often is heard among the guilty. Of course, this is just an indication, or even a 'hint' of which to note, and not a conclusion within itself.

Other phrases that are commonly found in deceptive people:

    "Honest to God"

"I will tell you the real truth"

"Honestly...", "I swear to God" When "God" enters into a denial, it is often an indication of deception and the analyst should be on high alert.

Although transcripts are not yet available, these phrases should be noted, along with "actually" (which compares two or more thoughts), "really", "hardly", "practically", "just about", "mostly" and so on. We are hearing these phrases enter into testimonies. It is not so much that George Anthony pauses which is causing question marks, but it is the words he is choosing after the pause.

He is going beyond the simple "yes" or "no" responses that served him well in the first testimony about the drowning and sexual abuse.

What does George Anthony have to be deceptive about?

Is this motion an attempt to quell allegations of sexual abuse, and if so, why is it needed? Is it a ploy to make Casey take the stand, in order to have it established by testimony?

We may have our answers shortly.

Casey Anthony Must Take the Stand

Casey Anthony may be boxed into having to testify.

It appears that Casey, via her attorney, has put her mother in a bad spot by pushing the envelop too far.

    How?

Perhaps not so much in her vile accusations against George. There hasn't been a great deal of love lost between these two. They have separated before, with Cindy playing 2nd fiddle to George's Nigerian princess, but when Casey struck out at the apple of her eye, she took it too far.

Lee was parentified early, with Cindy taking counsel with Lee, making her son in the place of her weak, bumbling and abdicating husband. Lee plays with the truth just as do the other 3, loose and careless, but always from a point of ego. Lee, like any Anthony, considers himself above the common man, reflecting back to when he first put out an ad for an "administrative assistant" for himself. What did he want: must be intelligent, hard working, have own car, and available to Lee, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week: no sabbath. Oh, and by the way, must have a college degree. (Something Lee did not have). This tells us a great deal about Lee.

Next was his performance, front and center, at Cindy's memorial where he deliberately toyed with the press with his silly "C-M-A" chant, addressing his sister, of whom there has been some form of agreement, as evidenced in the speech as well as his infamous "high-five", and his need for immunity.

By bringing Lee into it, even in the slightest way, Casey sent a strong message to Cindy that it was a scorched earth policy to save her life: She would bring down whomever she pleased.

By stating that Cindy failed to protect and demanded silence from Casey is one thing; Cindy is used to being made to look the fool before the nation. She has not only embraced the lies of Casey, she added many of her own. She cannot blame Casey for all the times she took to the microphone, clearly in love with having an audience, and rambled off one lie after the next, this is who she is, but when Casey took Lee into the sordid mess, she did what she always does:

    went too far in detail.

Liars often do. They think they will be believed when they add in details.

Unless Cindy changes posture and returns to the rabid doberman in defense of her daughter, Casey is left without a choice:

    She must take the stand.

If George and Cindy's attorney has filed a motion limiting the references to sexual abuse, Casey will then take the stand.

    She won't have a choice.

Next up: Does the need for such a motion, if true, does it make Casey's claim appear credible?

On deck: Did Casey have plans for her parents' lives??

Is Jose Baez Casey's Latest Victim?

Question:     If you take a tiger and breed him to a lion, what do you produce?
Answer:         More than meets the eye:   a liger.

Question:   What has the union of Casey Anthony and Jose Baez produced?
Answer:     More than meets the eye:  a liar being lied to.

Let the bitterness fall where it will.

Is Jose Baez the latest victim of Casey Anthony's lies?

In what may prove to be a shocking turn of events, since the bombshell of Casey's assertion, via her attorney, in the opening statement, has Casey duped even Baez into utterly failing in his cross examinations of George Anthony and Tony Lazzarro?

Our Chat Room is opening and we will be discussing this very real possibility today on The Peter Hyatt Show: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/flashchat/chat.aspx?HostUserURL=peter-hyatt

The Peter Hyatt Show: Statement Analysis

                                     http://www.blogtalkradio.com/peter-hyatt

The Peter Hyatt Show is a weekly BlogTalk Radio program in which current news stories are viewed, especially in light of Statement Analysis.

Statement Analysis, also known as "SCAN", or "Scientific Content Analysis" was highlighted in the United States by Israeli born, Avinoam Sapir, who continues to hold seminars and offer online classes including Advanced and Ongoing Education. His website is www.lsiscan.com

He has taught such notables as John Douglas, author and profiler, Mark McClish, Statement Analyst, author, TV commentator and instructor, and Dr. Susan Adam's, who's article on Statement Analysis was published in the FBI Journal.

Here at the blog, we combine Statement Analysis with commentary and profiling, though at times, we post only analysis.  Sometimes, in particular, in the ongoing cases, enough facts become known and we will produce more commentary than analysis, but analysis is the main stay and starting point of the blog and of the radio program.

Statement Analysis is scientific, based mostly upon the rules of grammar.   Dr. Adams, who taught in the FBI, authored, the following article which gives a good introduction into Statement Analysis.

    http://seamusoriley.blogspot.com/2010/05/statement-analysis-101.html

Statement Analysis is scientific, meaning that the analysis should produce the same results.  Where we find differences is in:

Commentary, Opinions, and conclusions.  This is where an analyst may make a conclusion based not simply on the analysis, but upon news paper reports of evidence, affidavits, behavioral analysis, etc.

For a good example of strict analysis, see Mark McClish's site:  www.statementanalysis.com  and go to famous case examples.  Mark was a guest on The Peter Hyatt Show, and has also appeared on ABC's "20/20" showing how analysis is used to uncover deception.

Mark has an excellent introductory course that he offers, online, at a reasonable rate.   See his website for details, as well as his book, "I Know You Are Lying" at Amazon.com or his website.

On the Peter Hyatt Show, we have had excellent guests including Profiler and Author Pat Brown, and Body Language Expert, Dr. Lillian Glass.  Author and Crime Doctor Denny Griffin, Domestic Violence Expert Susan Murphy-Milano, and many others.

Today's show will concentrate on the Casey Anthony trial, in particular, the testimony of Cindy Anthony, and how her testimony may make or break the defense's claim of accidental death.

Many believe that Caylee died, in one form or another, of an accident, either by drowning as Casey stated through her attorney in the opening statement, or by accidental overdose of chloroform, having sedated her many times before, going 'too far' on the night or day in question.

    Was this premeditated murder?

Join us today at 6:30PM EST at Blog Talk Radio:

Will Cindy Anthony Torpedo Casey?

Will Cindy Anthony sink the prosecution's case against her daughter, Casey Anthony, by agreeing with the defense' claim that Caylee drowned in a pool, was found by George, and later that George dumped the body?  Or, will she torpedo Casey and Jose Baez, and the claim they made in the opening statement?

The claim is that Caylee drowned in a pool.

George found her and screamed at Casey that her mother would never forgive her.

George then hid the body, and Casey went into a defensive, phony state of "denial" due to acute and long term sexual abuse of Casey by the perpetrator George.  Casey's behavior, as if all was normal, was due to this incestuous abuse by George and 'explains' the 31 days in which Casey did not report her child missing.

Later, the corpse was found (and held?) by Roy Kronk (for what purpose?) only to later make the "discovery"in order to gain the $50,000 reward and get fame from it.

This is the defense claim summarized.

Quickly, the prosecution countered where George gave a strong appearance before the jury denying sexual abuse, any sexual misconduct, and denied that Caylee drowned in the pool.

With no one else but Casey to go by, the defense is all but done.

    But what of Cindy?

Cindy Anthony testified under oath, perhaps on medication, appearing somewhat sedate from her usual persona.  The kinder, gentler Cindy said that she only recently learned that Zanny the Nanny did not exist.

Cindy said that she believed her daughter always, as did Lee Anthony.

They both said this with straight faces; more than a few times.

                                                               Cindy always believes Casey.

Cindy said that she only recently stopped "searching" for Zanny the Nanny about 6 weeks ago.  This coincides with when the defense let it be known that they would use the drowning death theory, and blame the Anthonys.  Until then, if Cindy is to be believed, she "searched" for Zanny and has believed in her daughter's reality.

This presents a well worn problem:  if you were such a good grandmother, how could you let a person babysit your only grandchild, all week long, for about 2 years, including many sleep overs, without ever meeting, talking to, checking out, leaving cell phone number with, or, in any way, shape or form: verify that Zanny the Nanny actually exists?

Since most people learn more about a kennel before dropping off a cat, this made Cindy look neglectful, to an extreme, or stupid.  She appeared not to mind either, as long as it helped Casey.

She spent an incredible amount of energy attempting to taint a jury pool that Caylee was alive, going as far as to write a letter about Caylee being alive after hosting a memorial service that put her front and center.

The apple did not fall far from the tree.

Cindy now claims that she only stopped believing in Zanny the Nanny, the Santa Claus of the Anthony Clan, because Casey has said so, through her attorney.

This may be key to understanding Cindy Anthony.

Cindy Anthony wrote letters to Casey, who refused to see her for 2 years while in jail.  In spite of acute loneliness, Casey refused to see her own mother.  At first, Baez attempted to portray this as a necessity due to the video taping that goes on between visitor and prisoner.  All prisoners of all cases know this, and visit just the same, avoiding conversation that my implicate them (unless their last name is Croslin).

It wasn't due to anything but hatred that Casey held for Cindy that kept her at bay for 2 years while Casey suffered from social isolation.

Cindy did, however, write to Casey and it may be within these letters that we learn what Cindy may do to the prosecution's assertion that Casey is, once again, lying about how Caylee died.

Cindy wrote that she and Casey are the same.

    Cindy always believes Casey.

    Cindy lies for Casey.

Will she now affirm Casey's claim that George molested her, and that George probably did dump the body?

Going by history, the answer is "yes"; going by what her attorney says, the answer is "no."

Casey's temper tantrum in the court room may give an answer:

If Casey blew because Cindy hugged George, the man who Casey alleges did vile things to her for years, then it is that Cindy has betrayed Casey, and will let the criminal justice system have its way with her. Casey's venom was unmistakeable as she snarled at her mother, unwilling to be comforted by an attorney.

    Mother's Day

This may be another hint to Cindy's testimony.

Cindy, after 2 years of being rebuffed, wanted to visit with Casey, just this once, in jail.  Cindy even considered making the request public, so desperate she was to visit her daughter, but Casey would not.  It was                                          the final insult before the trial began.  Cindy is not one to be crossed and Casey pushed the wrong button by publicly humiliating Cindy by rejecting her attempt at a visit.  This may come back to haunt Casey Anthony for a long, long time.

She knew her mother was tough.  She had felt those strong fingers around her throat.  She had seen that dark countenance staring down at her in disapproval.  Do not put Cindy to the test, Casey, that still small voice inside of her head told her, but Casey, herself, is her own god.  She bows to none.  She has more confidence in her own ability to lie and deceive than anyone in recent memory.  When she holds the world in contempt, that world includes Cindy.

Casey now stood up to Cindy and said, "you will continue to take my insults and will continue to lie for me on my command!"

It is the battle of the vicious and severe eye brows.

    But Cindy's got 'em, too.

Cindy is not one to be pushed around, just go as the protester who saw those wild eyes and the raised baseball bat.

Go ask John Morgan about the 'rabid doberman' he feared letting off leash.

Casey may have just pushed Cindy once too often.

Has Cindy finally said, "Enough!  You wanted it, you got it, Casey!  Now we are going to tell the truth and let the criminal justice system take its course.  You killed my Caylee and I have tried for years to protect you, even lying to the public for you, pretending that Caylee was alive!  I let them think of me as an idiot, even defending your imaginary nanny was alive, being paid imaginary money from your imaginary job while you were robbing me blind.  But I am done!  I am done with your lies, and your father may have his problems, but what you have alleged of him is too much.  No more, Casey, no more. No more lies, Casey! "?

We may have the answer to this dilemma on Tuesday, when Cindy faces the cross examination, but it may be that Cindy's embrace of George, as well as the ability to sit stoically through the description of sexual abuse let us know that Cindy is prepared to let the truth take this case where it will.

Has George and Cindy's attorney found success in convincing them that Caylee is dead, and Zanny never existed?

Has the reported $2 million dollar movie deal impacted things?

Will Cindy's long record of lying, from the pizza lie right down to the bragging of Casey as a wonderful mother, event planner, financial advisor, counselor, and all around truthful upstanding citizen, finally cone to an end?

"If they don't find her, guess who gets blamed spends eternity in jail?"               Casey Anthony
