Outburst at Casey Anthony Trial

The trial was interrupted just prior tolunch by Elizabeth Ann Rogers, who made an outburst yelling about Casey.  When questioned by Judge Perry, she revealed a litany of diagnosis and medications.

What would Judge Perry do, given that she sought to excuse her behavior due to mental health issues?  This would be something eagerly listened to by both defense and prosecution.

He was sharp enough to ask her if she had taken her meds this morning, which she did, at 6AM.  She faced 179 days in jail, and cried saying how sorry she was and what a "good person" she was.  As recently seen, always note when someone describes themselves as "good" or as a "wonderful mother"; it is an indication that something is sensitive to them.  It is similar when someone offers that they are "normal"; it is an indication that they have been considered, either by their own selves, or by others, at some point in life, as abnormal.  Bodylanguage experts will decide for themselves if they believe that her crying and bending over was genuine, or was contrived to manipulate her way out of trouble. 

Casey, however, appeared relieved for the distraction.

When outburst woman said, "Can I turn myself in tomorrow?" she showed a familiarity with the court process.  This statement would indicate that she knew what she was doing and likely had experienced arrest before. 


Baez took note that 179 days was reduced to only 2 due to mental health issues, as did everyone else in the court room.

Hmmmm.

This was an insight into Judge Perry's thinking. 

Was she responsible for her actions?  Sort of, as he did give her 2 days.  Did he hold her fully responsible?  No.  He took into account her explanation of mental health issues.

How did she find her way into the courtroom?  How did she navigate directions?  How did she know what to say about Casey?  Were all these matters outside of her understanding?
