George and Cindy: We Will Save Casey's Life

George and Cindy Anthony, through their attorney, has indicated that they don't believe Casey is innocent.

    Note the soft wording.

George and Cindy have steadfastly lied since first taking to the cameras in the summer of 2008. Cindy Anthony went as far as to hold a memorial service where she was front and center, only to later write to Casey Anthony claiming that Caylee was alive living in Brooklyn, New York, with Zanny the Nanny.

From destroying evidence to giving the FBI the wrong hairbrush for testing, leading on to the final insult of Caylee: sending her murderer a "mother's day" card, Cindy Anthony, along with George, has shown the public where Casey learned her craft of deception.

Now, they are planning on doing "everything" (their attorney's word) they can to save Casey from justice.

    Exactly, what does "everything" include?

Given what George and Cindy have done since the summer of 2008, we may safety assume that "everything" may include perjury.

What might George and Cindy say in court in order to twist the emotions of the jury?

    And...

how will the handling of George Anthony, by Casey's attorney, Jose Baez, play to the jury?

If Baez and George are confrontational, with Baez staying with his original assertion in the opening statement, the jury will not see George Anthony as a sympathetic character.

This will be playing right into the hands of Juror number four, the one who claims to belong to a religion which precludes judgement. She is the wild card of the entire case, and we do not have any explanation of why the prosecution allowed Juror number 4 to be on the jury in the first place. Court observers who watch the jury demeanor have reported that she appears to scowl at prosecution, and look favorably upon Jose Baez. We do not know if this is truthful, or if it is an attempt at upsetting the audience for ratings.

Could George Anthony admit to some abuse, but not sexual abuse, in order to attempt to humanize Casey in the eyes of the jury? Thus far, her icy demeanor has likely not played well with the jury, though they have not seen her giggling, though some may have seen the flirtatious looks towards Baez.

Could Cindy throw George partially under the bus, admitting to everything but criminal activity on George's part?

Do any of these people possess a form of immunity that would allow them to implicate themselves in something that may cause the jury to pity Casey?

Will Lee use his immunity to say all sorts of horrific things on the stand in order to save Casey, only to later tell the media he lied to spare Casey? This is one of the downsides of immunity. We do not know the extent of immunity he received, but we do know that if Lee Anthony received immunity from prosecution, he needed immunity.

Will we learn what involvement, if any, Lee had in the disposal of Caylee? Was Caylee, in deed, moved? Was Lee involved when Casey drove around the corpse for days? Was this part of the "CMA" promise he taunted the public with at Cindy's memorial?

If there is anything consistent in the Anthony family it is deception. There is no evidence to suggest that some change has taken place within this family to believe that they will now turn away from their norm, and be truthful, in the court, to the media, or in their books and movies.

They will be millionaires, and they know it, but it will come from the lies, deception, abuse and eventual death of Caylee Anthony.

As this case becomes more and more focused upon saving Casey's life, we continue to hope that the State will maintain that this trial is about Caylee Anthony, the victim.
